So far Zach has the commanding lead, 29-23, after 3 weeks of NFL picks. As for week 4…
San Francisco 49ers (0-3) @ Atlanta Falcons (2-1)
Dustin: Falcons, with an 0-3 team coming to your home stadium, you better not lose.
Zach: I can’t imagine the 49ers losing for much longer, but that doesn’t end this week. Falcons.
New York Jets (2-1) @ Buffalo Bills (0-3)
D: Jets. Easy decision, the Bills are atrocious, the Jets aren’t.
Z: Jets. I don’t even think the pick needs to be defended.
Baltimore Ravens (2-1) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0)
D: Steelers. This is a tough one, but with the Steelers D looking as fierce as ever, it’s hard to pick against them. And they have Charlie Batch, so how can they lose?
Z: Ravens. I think they deliver a blemish to the Big-Ben-less Steelers.
Carolina Panthers (0-3) @ New Orleans Saints (2-1)
D: Saints. I thought the Panthers would be better than what their start has indicated, but they won’t do any improving against the champs.
Z: Saints. They need to rebound after last week’s tough over time loss, and the Panthers led by a rookie QB are the perfect rebound.
Denver Broncos (1-2) @ Tennessee Titans (2-1)
D: Titans. Johnson is back on his horse, and the Broncos happen to be that horse. Expect a big game from Chris Johnson.
Z: – Titans. Their defense is spectacular and the Broncos don’t have enough going offensively to make a big splash in this game.
Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) @ Cleveland Browns (0-3)
D: Browns. Despite losing last week I was encouraged from what I saw against the Ravens, and coming home should give the Browns enough of an edge to pull out win number 1 on the season.
Z: Bengals. I have a bad feeling that this is the week that the Bengals offense finds its rhythm. If that happens the Browns are doomed, however, without that it is a very close and winnable game for Cleveland, but I still think they drop to 0-4.
Detroit Lions (0-3) @ Green Bay Packers (2-1)
D: Packers. The Pack took a tough loss last week, but expect them to bounce back in full force against the lowly Lions.
Z: Packers. I have heard many say that the Lions get a win this week, but I think coming off of a pretty embarrasing night against the Browns, the Packers will mean business.
Seattle Seahawks (2-1) @ St. Louis Rams (1-2)
D: Seahawks. After a surprising 2 win start for Seattle, expect no different against the Rams.
Z: Rams. Their offense had great flow last week against a better defense, and their defense keeps improving. I think they make the NFC West much more interesting this weekend.
Indianapolis Colts (2-1) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2)
D: Colts. They’ve already lost once in the division, I don’t see it happening again just yet.
Z: Colts. Jags just don’t have anything going their way right now.
Houston Texans (2-1) @ Oakland Raiders (1-2)
D: Texans. Expect another bounce back performance this week, Texans trounce the Raiders in Oakland.
Z: Texans. Another good team that needs to bounce back this weekend.
Arizona Cardinals (2-1) @ San Diego Chargers (1-2)
D: Chargers. Despite having a better record than the Chargers, the Cardinals are just a worse team, and by the end of this one, they will not longer have the better record.
Z: Cardinals. I think the absence of Vincent Jackson is taking it’s toll on the Chargers, and I think the Cardinals squeak by this week. And yes, I make that decision knowing who their QB is.
Washington Redskins (1-2) @ Philadelphia Eagles (2-1)
D: Eagles. Vick is on a roll and as good as McNabb will do in his return, the Eagles will do just a little bit better.
Z: Eagles. I can’t pick against Vick right now.
Chicago Bears (3-0) @ New York Giants (1-2)
D: Da Bears. At 3-0, they have gotten some breaks, expect a few more to go their way as the move on up to 4-0.
Z: Giants. They have to catch a break sometimes. The Bears are playing a little a head of themselves right now, and even though they are coming off of a high after a big win against Green Bay, I think the Giants have more to prove right now.
New England Patriots (2-1) @ Miami Dolphins (2-1)
D: Patriots. Overall they have the edge over the Dolphins, and I expect them to show up and beat the ‘Phins.
Z: Dolphins. Miami at home, in the heat and humidity. Patriots players will be gassed and get worn down by the physicality of the Dolphins game.
