Dustin keeps inching closer, the tally sits at 79-71. Zach’s early lead and upset picks early on are fading as he isn’t feeling the upsets as much anymore and picking long-shots each week like the Bills or Lions, while Dustin picks the Browns every week, and that has been working for him.
Baltimore Ravens (6-2) @ Atlanta Falcons (6-2)
D: Baltimore. For my money the Ravens are a better football team than the Falcons.
Z: Falcons. I think the Falcons are a more complete team, and at home are nearly unbeatable.
New York Jets (6-2) @ Cleveland Browns (3-5)
D: Cleveland. The Browns are rolling off of two huge wins, and Thunder and The Cowboy (Colt McCoy) might be able to lead the Browns to a logic defying 3-0 stretch against some of the best teams in the NFL.
Z: Jets. Not so much because I think they will own the Browns, but since I have been picking the Browns to lose and they have been winning.
Cincinnati Bengals (2-6) @ Indianapolis Colts (5-3)
D: Colts. The Bengals are going to make the drop to the cellar of the AFC North, despite another big game from T.O.
Z: Colts. No chance for the Bengals.
Minnesota Vikings (3-5) @ Chicago Bears (5-3)
D: Vikings. Even with Harvin being doubtful, the Vikings should have a better team than the Bears for todays matchup.
Z: Bears. I think their defense out-does the Vikings offense and Cutler does enough to keep them ahead.
Tennessee Titans (5-3) @ Miami Dolphins (4-4)
D: Titans. Moss’ debut should leave the Titans in good position, whether they start Young or Collins, they have the edge.
Z: Titans. I think they edge out a close one, and Moss doesn’t make a big of a difference as everyone thinks he will.
Houston Texans (4-4) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (4-4)
D: Texans, I want the Jag’s but, I think the Texans turn this one around.
Z: Texans. Just because they need it. Their season went downhill fast, and they need a win to keep playoff hopes alive against division rival Jaguars.
Detroit Lions (2-6) @ Buffalo Bills (0-8)
D: Lions. The Bills don’t look closer to getting win #1.
Z: Bills. They have been playing really well against some tough teams the past few weeks, while the Lions have also done the same, I think the Bills get their lone win of the year.
Carolina Panthers (1-7) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-3)
D: Bucs. With the Panthers likely missing one or both of their runningbacks, this one is the easiest pick of the week.
Z: Bucs. I think this is a pretty easy W for Tampa.
Kansas City Chiefs (5-3) @ Denver Broncos (2-6)
D: KC. The Chiefs are not just going to win, but they are going to hang their share of points on this Broncos D.
Z: Chiefs. They look to stay in 1st place, and I don’t think the Broncos can stop them.
St. Louis Rams (4-4) @ San Francisco 49ers (2-6)
D: 49ers. I can’t see the Rams stealing this one on the road.
Z: Rams. I think Bradford and the young Rams take one from rival 49ers.
Seattle Seahawks (4-4) @ Arizona Cardinals (3-5)
D: Seahawks. The Card’s just won’t have what it takes to beat this not-actually-all-that-good Seahawks team.
Z: Seahawks. Pete Carrol’s bunch is hungry and plays hard, the Cardinals mostly do the opposite. Look for the Seahawks to be celebrating after this one.
Dallas Cowboys (1-7) @ New York Giants (6-2)
D: Giants. Cowboys suck, Giants are good.
Z: Giants. I kind of feel bad for the Cowboys. If anyone is gonna kick them while they are down it’s the Giants.
New England Patriots (6-2) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2)
D: Steelers. The Pats are good, but without Moss their offense will not have the depth and long ball threat required to take on the Steelers. Also expect Benjarvus Green-Ellis and Danny Woodhead to be stopped for basically nothing today.
Z: Steelers. If the Pats couldn’t get it done against the Browns (arguably middle of the road defense) I think they will struggle against the Steelers.
Philadelphia Eagles (5-3) @ Washington Redskins (4-4)
D: Eagles. McNabb vs the Eagles Part II. This one belongs to Vick.
Z: Redskins. I think McNabb and the ‘Skins are gonna bounce back and steal one from the Eagles.
