Indians Win!

BOOM! GAME OVER

Wow. The Indians are hot hot hot right now. The Indians struggled through most of the night, Jeanmar Gomez came out really flat and labored through the outing. Gomez really looked not himself, he was barely hitting the high 80’s on his fastball most of the game and he was not locating. The Indians had to actually play catch up this time because of a Miguel Cabrera bomb in the 1st inning. The Tribe was trailing through the top of the 6th 3-0 and they were playing sloppy defensively, not only did Gomez labor but Chad Durbin came in and his night was quick and not good. Gomez managed 5 and 2/3 innings with 4 k’s and was able to minimize the damage despite 10 hits. Durbin came in and gave up 2 quick runs before geting out of the inning.

The Indians were had just managed to get back in after Shelley Duncan drove in 2 with an rbi single in the bottom of the 5th, but then were staring a three run defecit in the face again right away. That soon changed when the Tribe’s good bullpen arms came through. Matt LaPorta crushed one, making it 5-3 and then soon there after Asdrubal Cabrera tied it all up with a 2 run homer. The Indians were down but not out through the whole game and their power stroke and timely hitting came through, and then did the bullpen. Joe Smith and Vinnie Pestano blanked the Tigers in the 7th and 8th while the Indians followed by Pure Rage time in the top of the 9th. The bullpen allowed the Tribe the chance to make the come back win. The Indians squandered chances throughout the game, but the bases were loaded and set the stage for a magnificent moment. After Shin Soo Choo whiffed, Carlos Santana and all his slumping greatness sent Cleveland into an uproar and gave us all a chance to celebrate. Santana sent a moon shot deep to right field. WALK OF GRAND EFFIN SLAM BABY. TRIBE WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So yea, basically what we know now is what Indians fans knew before. Santana is a beast. The Indians are for real and Santana is the MVP of the world. Even when he is struggling to get things on the daily basis, he still has the ability to have good at bats and make something happn when he has to and the team needs him to step up. Let us hope that the magic keeps running tonight and the Indians extend their winnings streaks.
